A Daintree Tour with everything!

This tour begins with a pick-up in your choice of luxury 4WD vehicles, from Cairns or The Northern Beaches. It is imperative to begin your journey from either location because it will impact the itinerary. If you start your morning from Cairns or The Northern Beaches you will venture along the scenic Great Barrier Reef Drive, to Port Douglas. The drive winds along the edge of the Coral Sea and Great Barrier Reef past unspoiled tropical beaches and iconic views. We stop at Rex Lookout where our private guide will share stories about local cultures, animals, and legends. The tour lasts the entire day and ends with drop-off back where we picked you up.

For guest getting picked up in Port Douglas we start your journey,  at Flagstaff Hill overlooking Port Douglas and enjoy the view of the surrounding rainforest. Mossman Gorge is nestled in the Daintree National Park, where you can see breathtaking cascades over large granite boulders surrounded by beautiful rainforest. Next, see beautiful Australian wildlife on an eco-friendly Daintree River Cruise. This boat is solar-powered and run by an experienced Coxswain who wants to show off the best sights of the river and surrounding environment. They have a unique perspective on the river that allows for maximum animal interactions, so whether you are sitting back or up front, everyone gets a great experience! Cross the Daintree River on their ferry to arrive in this remote Aboriginal community, where you feel like you have stepped back in time!

View the magnificent Daintree Rainforest from Alexandra Lookout, located in Cape Tribulation. This private lookout destination is surrounded by tropical rainforest, providing picture-perfect views over the Great Barrier Reef and out to sea. Hike down the Marrdja Boardwalk, a pathway that takes visitors back in time 350 millions years! You'll learn about the interesting history of this region as you take in all the lush flora and fauna that surrounds you. The boardwalk is wheelchair accessible, and it is only 1.2km long - but don't be fooled by its relatively short distance; this trail takes you on an incredible journey through time. Visit Noah Creek to enjoy a bird’s eye view of surrounding wildlife including crocodiles lurking beneath the murky waters nearby! The Daintree Ice Cream Company is a family-friendly destination located in the heart of Tropical Far North Queensland. The ice cream here is made from exotic fruits grown in their very own orchard, offering an amazing experience that you can't find anywhere else. Next, take a Self-Guided Orchard Walk and marvel at the fruit trees of the Tropics. The Cape Tribulation Beach is an amazing beach for camping with your friends. The rainforest is so dense that it wasn't affected by the Ice Age so don't miss out on this unique eco adventure!

After you’ve seen Daintree National Park and Cape Tribulation Beach, you’ll continue your journey back towards Port Douglas, Northern Beaches and Cairns along the Great Barrier Reef drive. You’re sure to spot Cassowaries along the way and have a truly unique private experience that is both informative and exciting. This is an excellent value 1 Day Daintree tour, so book today!

Meals: Lunch, at Whet Cafe or Cassowary Restaurant (Subject to availability). Morning Tea, at Foxton Bridge Mossman.

The walk to the Signpost at Pajinka “The Tip” is on uneven surface and approximately 10 minutes in duration.

The ability to cope with remoteness is essential.

We have no age limits on our Tours. We have had young families on tours, and clients in their 90s. When completing the Medical Waiver Form, it is the guests responsibility to ensure their health and physical fitness is of a reasonable level and they have disclosed any ailments that are of concern. We suggest you seek advise from your GP if you are unsure.
